The Data Quality Team has seen involvement from individuals with a broad range of expertise in domains such as medical informatics, statistics, clinical research and, of course, data quality. An initial workflow has been designed to address data quality concepts such as Uniqueness (checking for duplication), Consistency (ensuring data is in an expected form, within plausible ranges and meets logical tests), Completeness (missing data check), and Correctness (checking against a ‘gold standard’ source of information). This work has been undertaken by all partner registries and to date has revealed data quality of a standard that is highly suitable for use in the FAIRVASC project.
